| HC's Awesome Lady (Available SCAL) |
| Description: |
Female, LBRD,3yrs old, 58 lbs, not tested for kitty
Awesome Lady is just that! Lady has only been in the program for (4) days. She’s a little uncertain of her new surroundings yet….(you ever been in the jailhouse?) never seen so many people! She has a great temperament, loves everyone so far, and loves to get treats. She thinks she’s gone to heaven.
She is currently going through the 2nd Chance at Life Greyhound Training Center for obedience training. While she is available for ADOPTION now, she will spend the holidays with her Inmate caretaker and be ready for graduation January 28th
If you'd like to read about the 2nd Chance at Life program, please go to our web site at http://giveasecondchance.com and see the dogs in training and read testimonials. You can also fill out an adoption application there.
I’m available for a Christmas adoption now and will be delivered on graduation Jan 28th.

Description: BRD Female, 46 lbs, 2 yrs old, born Aug 07, cat safe
Again is a tiny little girl. She is sweet, and goes out to play with the big dogs just like she was their size. Every once in a while, she will act a little shy but then she comes right out of it.
1st caretaker evaluation:
I get along with inmates, staff, other dogs and small dogs. I love to take a bath, have my nails clipped, get my ears cleaned and my teeth polished. You can hug me around the head. And you can also approach me while I’m eating. I have no aggression toward my food bowl.
I’m a good eater, very active and playful, am friendly and outgoing, have no sleep startle but have some separation anxiety although I settle quickly. And man, can I climb those stairs. I rarely bark and by the way, I can poop on lead!
I’m learning my commands well and know most everything by verbal already.
My caretaker says my Best attributes: are “she is very alert to her surroundings and picks things up very quickly.”
My Weakest attributes are: She is very protective over her bed space. When it comes to other dogs coming into it. She does not want to share her bed space.
I have no medical concerns and am really healthy.
Comments by Deborah(caretaker): “ I’m working on her territory bed problems and she is improving. Sunne is a great dog on her 9th day here. She is sitting on command. She loves to play at the rec yard. She will follow me up and down the stairs and run through the tunnel. She loves the labs and would rather play with them than the greyhounds. I think it has something to do with her size. She is great with other dogs until it comes to her bed area. She is very protective of what is hers and I’m teaching her that its OK to share.”
