On June 26, 2009, we're proud to announce the opening of the 1st Greyhound Training ,behavorial and Socializing Center at the Gadsen Correctional Facility in Quincy, Fl.
The women inmates are seasoned dog trainers. This is their first session with our greyhounds and already their hearts are stolen! The 8 week class teaches commands like HEEL, SIT,STAY, COME on RECALL, WAIT, DOWN , plus socializing and correcting behavorial problems.

This beautiful group of dogs have graduated and are available for adoption now in Florida through our Florida Adoption Partners. They can be met at the NGF Sanctuary in Crystal River by calling 352-628-2281.

We bring only about 10 dogs back per session so only a few are available. We thank you for your support in Adopting these dogs and look forward to hearing from each of you and your greyhound.

This group of dogs has undergone more advanced training and will be released June 21
Session 3/30-07 thru June 21, 2007 4th session

July 19th graduation class: Nineteen new retired racing greyhounds have joined the 4th session training camp. These dogs will undergo intensive obedience training in the five basic commands, HEEL,SIT,DOWN,STAY,COME on RECALL, learn to walk up and down steps, walk on slippery surfaces, be socialized for your home and be loved and pampered for the next 10 weeks by caring Inmates in our program. Each week their progress will be posted on our DESCRIPTION page, as you receive a message from BEHIND THE RAZOR WIRE
