10/29/2009: Florida: Gadsen Correctional and Coldwater Correctional Facilities in Michigan and Saguro Correctional in Arizona are buzzing with excitement. 46 greyhounds are graduating and receiving their GHGC certificates, 92 Inmates are receiving their Achievement certificates and 46 new dogs are coming into the program. All of these greyhounds have been adopted and are waiting to go into their new homes.

These beautiful greyhounds have been adopted through our SCAL Adoption Partners in Florida.
We bring only about 10 dogs back per session so only a few are available. We thank you for your support in Adopting these dogs and look forward to hearing from each of you and your greyhound.

July 19th graduation class: Nineteen new retired racing greyhounds have joined the 4th session training camp. These dogs will undergo intensive obedience training in the five basic commands, HEEL,SIT,DOWN,STAY,COME on RECALL, learn to walk up and down steps, walk on slippery surfaces, be socialized for your home and be loved and pampered for the next 10 weeks by caring Inmates in our program. Each week their progress will be posted on our DESCRIPTION page, as you receive a message from BEHIND THE RAZOR WIRE
